At Rondvaart Wiljo we do our utmost to accommodate allergies and dietary requirements. Our catering is delivered ready-made by regular suppliers, so the options are sometimes limited. On this page you can read which options we can offer and what you should take into account.
Important: allergies and dietary requirements should be communicated to us at least 24 hours in advance
JOURNEY: Gluten-free pastries (only when renting a ship, not available on regular cruises)
LUNCH: Gluten-free bread (supplier may vary)
SOUP: Consenza - Instant vegetable soup (allergen free, vegetarian)
BUFFETS (at hire): 1 type of gluten-free bread. At least 1 dish gluten free.
DESSERT: Our standard ice cream is gluten free and can be ordered on board
BAKER: Lactose-free pastries (only when renting a ship, not available on regular cruises)
LUNCH: Lactose-free bread (supplier may vary)
SOUP: Consenza - Instant vegetable soup (allergen free, vegetarian)
BUFFETS (at hire): 1 type of lactose-free bread; if possible 1 dish lactose free.
DESSERT: Lactose free ice cream, only on hire (supplier may change)
No substitutes. When renting the ship, 1 vegan dish can be ordered.
MEAT: No substitute product.
LUNCH: No substitute product. As far as your diet allows, you can use the standard dishes of the lunch buffet.
SOUP: No sugar is added to the soup. No substitute product for low salt. Possibly Consenza - Instant vegetable soup (allergen free, vegetarian) = 0.57 gr salt per 100 ml
BUFFETS (at hire): No substitute product. You can, as far as your diet allows, use the
standard dishes of the buffets. If necessary, you can ask if fries without salt can be fried for you.
DESSERT: Our standard ice cream contains 0,1 gr salt per 100 gr and can be ordered on board. Sugar free ice cream can only be ordered when hiring the ship.
Our catering is delivered ready-made. We do not prepare dishes on board. The staff tries to give the best possible information, but they are not aware of all the ingredients of a product. The person with the allergy and/or intolerance is often best informed about the products they can eat. Apart from the alternatives mentioned above, we cannot offer other alternatives. This is not logistically feasible. Persons with allergies may always bring their own food (notify in advance).
Rederij Leerdam is not liable for any inaccuracies in the data provided by its suppliers.
Since we work in a small galley with shared production, the possibility of cross-contamination of allergens is always present.
In addition, cross contamination can occur due to improper use by guests of the serving spoons at the buffet.
Therefore, Rederij Leerdam cannot guarantee that its products do not contain traces of allergens.
Rederij Leerdam accepts no liability if a guest suffers physical complaints as a result of ingesting (a trace of) an allergen.
