Route of day trip Slot Loevestein

After leaving Heusden we sail a small stretch of Bergsche Maas, which we soon leave to enter the Heusdens Canal. We pass under the floodgates and sail past the beautiful town of Wijk en Aalburg. Then we enter the waters of the Andelse Maas, which flows on the border of Brabant and Gelderland.

We sail past the villages of Veen, Aalst and Andel and then moor at Slot Loevestein. Here you will have 1.5 hours to explore the beautiful surroundings on your own initiative. Then we will sail back towards Heusden where we moor around 16:30.

This is what a day with Wiljo looks like

At half past 10 we welcome you on board! At 10 o'clock we depart while enjoying a good piece of cake and a cup of coffee or tea. After a morning enjoying beautiful views you must have gotten hungry: at 11:30 we serve our extensive lunch buffet. After lunch you can quietly lower your food and let yourself sail around on the waves. Around 12:30 we will dock at Slot Loevestein, where we will depart again around 14:00.

At 15:00 the drinks start! With the drinks there are of course bitterballen, and also coffee, tea, beer, wine and soft drinks. At 16:30 we arrive back at the harbor in Heusden and this nice day on the water is over.
