Route of the cruise through the Biesbosch

Cast off! The cruise starts from Heusden. We sail past Wijk en Aalburg, Veen, Aalst and Aadel. Then we pass through the locks there and arrive at Woudrichem on the Merwede.

This is the busiest river in the Netherlands. We pass Gorinchem and sail on to Werkendam. A small lock in Werkendam brings us into the Biesbosch. Via the Steurgat we go through the Biesbosch.

Here it is time to enjoy the crazy Biesbosch. As we sail out of the Biesbosch , you will see the Amer power plant right in front of you. Via a small stretch of Amer we sail back up the Bergsche Maas , past Waalwijk and then back to Heusden.

Tour Biesbosch with lunch

At 09:30 we welcome you on board! At 10:00 am we depart while enjoying a good piece of cake and a cup of coffee or tea. After a morning enjoying beautiful views you must have gotten hungry. At 12:30 we serve our extensive lunch buffet. After lunch you can rest and relax sailing around the waves.

At 15:00 the drinks with bitterballen will start. There is also coffee, tea, beer, wine and soft drinks. At 16:30 we arrive back at the harbor in Heusden and this fine day on the water is over.
