If you are looking for a great activity in picturesque Heusden, book an hour-long round trip over the Maas and the Dode Maas (Dead Maas).
The boat leaves from our jetty “De Molensteiger”, just outside the city harbour, every Sunday at 14:30.
The route of our hour-long round trips is relaxing and varied, unique and extended. The landscape is filled with harbours, houseboats, a ferry that crosses, mills and extended floodplains. There is plenty to see on this round trip. We leave our starting point in Heusden, sailing on the Maas for a while towards the Heusden canal. We go past the village Wijk en Aalburg, ending up on the arm of the Dode Maas. This is a beautiful piece of protected nature reserve, where you can enjoy distant views and see unique water fowl.
